Saints steamrolled by Eagles in second half, fall to 1-4
1 Attachment(s)
The New Orleans Saints have said often they have no margin for error this year. Even one mistake might mean the difference between a win and a loss.
On Sunday afternoon against the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field, that seemed to have been forgotten. The Saints (1-4) made mistakes aplenty in a 39-17 blowout loss to the Eagles (2-3), turning the ball over four times on the road. The Saints had their moments, such as starting out the third quarter with a 46-yard pass from Drew Brees to Brandin Cooks on third-and-8. But the Saints couldn't capitalize on that drive. Zach Hocker kicked a field goal to tie the game 10-10, but it was a sign of things to come. http://imgick.nola.com/home/nola-med...6d1d53a12b.jpg read more |
