NFL Week 6 odds: New Orleans Saints open as underdog at home against Falcons
The New Orleans Saints couldn't get the job done on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday and with a quick turnaround, the oddsmakers have the Saints as an underdog in Week 6, too.
New Orleans faces NFC South rival the Atlanta Falcons Thursday night in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The undefeated Falcons are considered a 3-point favorite against the Saints. As far as the rest of the NFC South, the Carolina Panthers are considered an underdog at Seattle and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a BYE this week. We all know the drill. The roles are reversed but if we don't win another game, we have to win this one. This is our superbowl unfortunately this season.

Take the Falclowns. Anything can happen in sports. But, the Falclowns are too dynamic and are playing hard for their new coach. The Saints can't check Julio or Freeman. Plus, Brees will turn the ball over. Game over.

"That's because they ain't beat nobody enroute to 5-0, ie no respect because even at 5-0, they still suck."

It's a division game anything could happen
In 2012 they were 7-0 and we were 2-5, we ended their unbeaten start in week 8. |

If you look at the bigger issue, the better teams have always won on Thursday night. No upsets usually ever happen.
So far this season Denver, better than KC New York, better than Washington Baltimore, played Pittsburgh without Big Ben Indy, better than Houston Last year NYG, better than Washington Philadelphia, tied with Dallas Dallas, better than Chicago NE, better than NYJ Miami, tied with Buffalo GB, better than Minnesota Detroit, better than Chicago Baltimore, week 2 and at home against Pittburgh Cleveland, not better than Cincinatti NO, better than Carolina(yes, we were) Atlanta, better than TB Indy, better than Houston Jacksonville, better than Tennessee Seattle, tied with SF Arizona, had more to play for than StL Denver, better than SD Oakland, not better than KC. There have only been a few instances where a not better team has won. KC lost in Oakland. Buffalo lost in Miami. However, the road losers were not playing for the high seed, they were playing for playoff contention. We would be pulling off a unthinkable upset if we were to win. |

If our D plays bad, the Clowns put a 40 burger on us.

Re: NFL Week 6 odds: New Orleans Saints open as underdog at home against Falcons
i will take falcons and give up the 3.
gut check time and the season is riding on this game. falcons at home is a game we never should loss no matter how bad things are. If you need 30 personal fouls penlites and knock all the falcons starters out of the game, you do it!:brood: The falcons must never win the dome! |
Re: NFL Week 6 odds: New Orleans Saints open as underdog at home against Falcons
The 3 points number got me hyped.
I was thinking 13. I'm hoping the Saints blow these guys out... Make everybody scratch their head? What? O-line playing like Schlitz! Except for tomorrow night. Defense just porous! Except for tomorrow night. Who are these guys? Wouldn't make me mad. |

2-4 would look much better than 1-5.

The dirty birds have been getting defensive TDs. Taking care of the ball needs to be priority #1. Peat playing well is close behind...

Re: NFL Week 6 odds: New Orleans Saints open as underdog at home against Falcons
I thought the falcons would be a touchdown favorite. I don't see how we get of this one with a win.

Re: NFL Week 6 odds: New Orleans Saints open as underdog at home against Falcons
Line makes sense. Every Falcons win has been a comeback or a squeaker. Hey if the Longhorns beat the Sooners this year then we can handle the Falcons. But sixth sense is telling me the Falcons will break out hearts at the end like the other 5 teams they beat.

Re: NFL Week 6 odds: New Orleans Saints open as underdog at home against Falcons
Sure would be nice to put it on Falcons tonight.... Beating Dallas and Falcons at home will get me threw this season...
