Someone in the Colston injured thread is psychic!

The New Orleans Saints have re-signed wide receiver Joe Morgan, who participated in Tuesday's practice.

Morgan was released last week after the Saints signed punter Brandon Fields. He was also re-signed earlier in the year after not making the initial 53-man roster.

Call me crazy, but I could see Morgan having more of an impact than Coleman. At least Morgan can get seperation.

His specialty is the fly route, but our QB can't throw it over 40 yards.

I'm hoping another few days of rest and rehab helps Brees' shoulder strength.

It's a good signing if Drew's arm is back to 100%.

Desperation? Colston is likely out for several weeks.

I don't see this as desperation at all. I see it as replacing a player who will be missing significant time.

Look, Drew gives the best chance to win, bottom line. It's the o-line that is killing the team.

No, it's our WR's that are killing the team. Brees is getting sacked after standing in the pocket for five seconds with no-one to throw to.

I mean I don't think they signed him because they are sure he will fill Colston's void, as someone said he has worse hands than Colston and Drew isn't able to throw deep. I see it as a band-aid.

Why all the concern about Colston? Snead and Cooks are way past him now. Colston has had 1 good game in the past 2 seasons.

Our RBs take contact after the handoff sooner than any other team. Our O line is bad.

Joe will flash his skills then he will disappear. This staff isn't truly trying to improve this team. They're just playing out the string. Payton and Loomis will not be back. I personally think it's a good thing.

We run a complex offense or try to anyway. Only reason Morgan is back is because no FA could grasp it in time to help. Morgan at least knows some of the playbook and can open up the underneath routes for Snead.

there is no deep ball threat . . . that allows the db's to play tight, stop the run and jam receivers . . . it all works together . . .

put him(morgan) wide as he can, send him screeching down the sidelines every play, on the other side put cook gunning for him at an angle. Out of the slot put snead running a out route then cut up the side lines with the ball falling in his (sneads) hands down the sidelines in for the score. wth we got to lose. one of those three will be open on consecutive plays.
