Dead Money: $31.07 million Adjusted Salary Cap: $145,092,430 Dead Money Percentage: 21.41% Now that our scouting department is gone, the magnifying glass should be on Loomis. |
Re: Team record vs "dead money"
I think one needs to be a CPA in order to just read that article. But very telling and where this season went wrong.

Re: Team record vs "dead money"
Don't have time to dig for it but I would love to see some numbers on, historical teams that lead the league in dead money, versus how long the GM is allowed by ownership to stick around.

Re: Team record vs "dead money"
I'm disgusted. Maybe Tom Benson does need to give up ownership because he sure as hell isn't going to hold Loomis and Payton accountable.

Re: Team record vs "dead money"
As someone on here told me Loomis is a yes man. Payton runs the whole show.

But, his KIDS are happy. |
Re: Team record vs "dead money"
Galette is the reason our dead money looks so bad. He went from promising stud to psycho girlfriend in one year. There's one person to blame for that, Junior Galette.

Re: Team record vs "dead money"
Maybe we need more guys to retire like 49ers rather than become albatross around our necks!
|
Re: Team record vs "dead money"
Not sure, but I think retirement counts the same against the cap.
