Drew Brees fastest ever to reach 45,000 passing yards with one team
 

By throwing for 312 yards, Brees eclipsed 45,000 passing yards since joining the Saints in 2006. He hit the milestone in his 148th game with New Orleans, becoming the fastest ever to reach the mark with one team.

More records are within Brees’ grasp this season. If he throws 18 touchdown passes over the final 12 games, Brees will pass Dan Marino for third all-time. He’s currently tied with Tom Brady at 403.

Doug Flutie retired at 43 and was still playing acceptable up until that point. He was considered too short, Brees toweres over him. Barring injuries, Brees could at least go 40. I think QB's being viable at 40 is becoming more common. Have to protect him though, won't get there with a line like we have now that's for sure.

I want to see him run the offense from the huddle and the line. Drew Brees taking plays from Sean Payton at this point in his career is MORONIC.

I hope he passed another milestone Thursday night. He now knows how to remove himself from a toxic pocket.
