Next week's game against the Colts
The Colts don't scare me as much as wondering/worrying WHICH Saints team is going to get off the plane.
This is another game that the Saints have as good a chance of losing as they do winning. Hopefully the defense continues improving. I am going to say Saints win their second game 34-24. |
Re: Next week's game against the Colts
If Thursday's team shows up, we win walking away...
But the offense and the defense can't regress at all |

Re: Next week's game against the Colts
After New England roughs up the Colts they should feel down on their
Luck. If they pull an upset and beat the Patriots their eyes will become delusional and they won't see us. |

you wonder what the state of the team would be today if we had not given away so many games last year. Who would still be here if we pulled out one of the those 4th quarter meltdowns? |
Re: Next week's game against the Colts
If the Saints play with the same intensity on both sides of the ball that they did on Thursday, then we will be fine against the Colts.
If they don't . . . . . . . . Then its another long day at the office with the inevitable score line and another Saints loss!! GEAUX SAINTS!!! |
Re: Next week's game against the Colts
Call me crazy but I think the Saints will either win or lose.

Re: Next week's game against the Colts
Watching this game right now. Either Colts offense is good or Pats D is bad. The Colts marched down the field for a TD on the first drive with no problem.
Continuing to watch this game...... unfortunately, the Colts are a good team on both sides of the ball. So, BTW is Carolina. They dismantled the Hawks in the last quarter. Hmmmm..... Welp, the Colts def. gave the Pats a game today. I'm thinking we could easily lose this one. But, WTF, let's beat the snot out of 'em, then.... kick sand in their face. :handguns: finally,. |

The game is still on the road.

Re: Next week's game against the Colts
WTF why didn't they save that amazing 4th down play for OUR game? With our defense and offensive woes we could really use a "gifted" wrapped-with-a-bow touchdown like that. Hopefully Pagano and his crew have a few other amazing "trick plays" to run against us!

Re: Next week's game against the Colts
I would be shocked if the Saints do not win at Indy. The Colts are a train wreck happening and the Saints are beginning to gel.

Re: Next week's game against the Colts
2015 Colts remind me of 2014 Saints, Super Bowl pick in the offseason, complete dud during the regular season
|
Re: Next week's game against the Colts
The fact they just lost to NE and are at home again is something to take notice. They will put up a big fight to avoid back to back home losses and under Luck they have never lost back to back home games.
However, I think 10-6 is achievable still if we lose this. If we win this, I believe we could run the table. That Tennessee game is still the one I'm concerned about. |

Without some more big plays by defense we could be in trouble.

Re: Next week's game against the Colts
No one on the Radio here in Indy gives the Saints a chance.

Re: Next week's game against the Colts
The Colts are struggling. There head coach is getting RAPED over the trick play. His seat is super hot. He is taking flak from all angles on everything. If we can play turnover free football, we have a real good chance to win.

Re: Next week's game against the Colts
If we stop the run, we win.
Make them one dimensional and our pass rush will show up again. Luck is very unlucky when people are in his face. We forced a few turnovers which really helped our cause last week. We can't count on it but we can surely hope for it. |
Re: Next week's game against the Colts
Indy is an embarrassed team playing back-to-back games at home.
Drew has no turnovers, we stop the run, we keep their TE's from eating our lunch...we win. I honestly think it's that simple. |
Re: Next week's game against the Colts
Travaris Cadet was with the Colts yesterday. They are really desperate and this is must win for them. I hope Sean embarasees pagano on sunday.

Re: Next week's game against the Colts
I dont think the Colts loss to the Pats was that lopsided. One play basically decided that game, and it wasn't the 4th down debacle.
After Indy scored and went for the onside kick, they should have gotten the recovery. That was a blown call by the officials after the reply; you could clearly see the ball in position of Colt player but they let the ruling on the field stand. If that call goes the correct way Indy is up by a TD with the ball on the pats 30 yard line. Instead the pats go down the field for a crucial TD on that drive. It's a potential 14 point swing. All that said, I still like the Saints in this game. |
