Akeem Davis signed to Saints practice squad
Akeem Davis signed to Saints practice squad
Former Tigers safety Akeem Davis has been signed to the New Orleans Saints practice squad for the rest of the season. Davis, a 6-foot-1, 200-pound safety, spent last season with the Washington Redskins after going undrafted in the 2013 NFL draft. He spent most of the season as a special teams player and made 11 tackles in 13 games. The Redskins cut him before the end of training camp, which left him looking for a team to sign with. Akeem Davis signed to Saints practice squad hmmm interesting SS/FS/CB/KR/ST ok he has no one position coming out of college. He needs to find a home. But that 4.37(?) speed maybe useful. now can he play gunner? our gunners sux. so there is a nitch open for him. |

We are really turning over every stone/scrapping the bottom of the barrel looking for talent. Damn our bad drafting! :brood:
