Lot of negativity toward the end
this thread is just positive posts. just add something positive.
A lot of positives today, but watching the tampa collapse culminate with 24 seconds to go was lovely |

1+2 = 3

Re: Lot of negativity toward the end
The running game was good. Ingram looked fast and aggressive. Cam Jordon is piling up sacks. Two more pics by the defense.
Oh and Colston caught the last throw and held onto it. Great catch too!! |
Re: Lot of negativity toward the end
Positive?
Kikaha and Anthony both are looking better every game... |
Re: Lot of negativity toward the end
Again, we did not get cheated out of SIXTY full minutes of Saints football. I'd hate it if we got so far ahead that we put someone away too early.
Offensive line created some giant holes today. Awesome. |
Re: Lot of negativity toward the end
Colston's catch to seal the win.

Nice win for the Black & Gold, :). |
Re: Lot of negativity toward the end
More positive; Kyle Wilson had a good game... I can't wait to see this secondary when Swann and Lewis are back. Breaux, Swann, Lewis; I'd stay in nickel most of the time

Re: Lot of negativity toward the end
A great win today! The look on the Colts fans faces when we were way ahead in the early part of the game was priceless!
Well done Saints! Lets keep in going! GEAUX SAINTS!!! |
Re: Lot of negativity toward the end
McNown is the best backup QB in the league.
|
Re: Lot of negativity toward the end
Murphy came up with the onside kick. He is gonna break one soon. Saints are on the march!!!

Re: Lot of negativity toward the end
Oh, and the D, in the first half was, literally, shutdown. It was a thing of beauty.
|
Re: Lot of negativity toward the end
In the first half the D was incredible, I still have no idea how Breaux slipped twice over absolutely nothing.
Kikaha with yet another forced fumble. The D with another 2 interception game Cam Jordan with 2 more sacks, unfortunately the pressure on Luck completely disappeared in the second half. Run blocking was incredible and disappeared when it mattered the most. The most positive thing - we won. |
Re: Lot of negativity toward the end
I was annoyed listening to John Lynch talking about the Colts' "self inflicted wounds" in the first half, when they could barely even get a first down on us and we threw an interception in the endzone. We were clearly dominating them.
In the second half it was penalties and Breaux falling down that let the Colts back in. It was the SAINTS who were killing themselves. There were a lot of good things to see in this game, but we really throttled down significantly. Don't ever give a team hope when you have them dead to rights. My overall takeaway is that we have seen that this team at it's best can be pretty good. They have a lot of growing up to do with consistency. That's an upgrade from what we saw in the first 5 weeks. |

Re: Lot of negativity toward the end
an ugly win is still a W in the end. It could be the one win we need to get a wildcard. One game at a time.
That being said, no, there isnt too much to get excited about. Next years D is going to be fun to watch, but when a team lets an opponent come back with 20 points and almost win that team deserves some nagativity. If anything it just shows me that just like every Saints team the last 3 years just cannot finish strong. |
Re: Lot of negativity toward the end
I was watching at home and in the 3rd quarter Fox changed because they said it wasn' t competitive. So I had to watch the Bucs.

Re: Lot of negativity toward the end
Coverage Sacks.

Re: Lot of negativity toward the end
I will watch the game tonight but being 27-0 up is an absolute pounding, no matter how it was done. Disappointing they didn't go on with it but it seems the scoreline flattered Indy.
Really looking forward to watching this one. |

We kept pulling the trigger. But, we never managed to shoot ourselves in the foot.
