New Orleans Saints CB Damian Swann plans Sunday return after concussion
New Orleans Saints rookie cornerback Damian Swann said he missed last Sunday's game at Indianapolis after new concussion-related symptoms cropped up during the practice week.
Swann suffered a concussion Oct. 11 at Philadelphia and missed the next game against the Atlanta Falcons. Swann said he passed the NFL-mandated concussion protocol but didn't feel completely well after returning to practice for one day last week. "There were still some things going on, so I think it was the best for me to just give it a little more time," Swann said. Swann said he expects to play when the Saints (3-4) face the New York Giants (4-3) on Sunday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. "I think I should be ready. I had a better day today," he said. "I'm feeling a lot better, doing a lot better." New Orleans Saints CB Damian Swann plans Sunday return after concussion | NOLA.com |

Seems like he could have played last week if needed; he was cleared anyway.
He was full today, so he probably won't even be on Friday's report. |

I like the fact that they are being very careful with this. Concussions is such a serious issue.

Love Swann's style of play. Lewis, Breaux, Swann, Browner can cover many different sets. |

So...careful with Swann, but not Brees? Anyone with eyes could see that partway thru the second half Drew was not himself. Eyes were disconcerted...passes wayyy overthrown etc. When healthy he only overthrows a receiver when throwing the ball away. Hopefully he recovers enough for a win Sunday or they play McCown and give Drew a chance to really heal with a week off and a by.
