A third round pick? He must not know bout us. We just get a second round pick taken away and then we draft someone in the second round just to cut them. We don't value no damn pick. especially for the best player in Saints history. He needs to go roll his ass off a damn cliff somewhere.

Yes makes sense. Give up a hall of fame QB who could still play solid at 40 that is 37 when QB is the hardest position to fill. That worked out great for the Colts.

actually the jets are the only team in the NFL that are a QB away from making a run at a title IMO. They dumped a ton of cash into all of the rest of the positions in the off season so the appear ready but lack that one main ingredient. Drew

So from that view point i can see were they are coming from.

Trade Drew then you might as well go for broke and deal away SP at the same time. load up on picks and pray for the best. Superbowl run? we are talking multi picks in the first three rounds for two to three years.

Will it happen? never know, no matter how fetched it would seem.

IDK, it looks like they just grabbed a couple guys with big contract years coming up and assumed they should be traded, ie Drew, Calvin ... #shrug.

For 2 #1 picks and able to drop a 27 million contract I would do it. I think Grayson looks great from what little I have seen but in case he's not the answer I would trade for Carr in Oakland, draft a big body WR , T, and G and go with that, everything else on the O is good.
