I have no idea how you get "classless" out of anything he is saying. I just made the effort to go back and re-read some of it, including his original post in that thread. He's the one who started the thread asking if HE was crazy for thinking we could make the playoffs. That was on October 26th, so that was before the Giants game when he was saying we could go 9-7.
He later amended that to say he thought 10 was possible. There was a different poster in there saying that all the points have been against bad defenses, and the guy you're complaining about was saying that we've been playing well for a month, and not just for a game or two.
Given our schedule, there isn't a game we can't win, and most are games we SHOULD win. But you really don't know with this team if they will stay consistent enough, so I can't say he's wrong for being a little cautious. But he's not being negative. I do think Carolina is overrated, and he seems to be over-selling them, but when he says that game shouldn't be considered a lock... Do any of us REALLY disagree with that?
You call that classless? It's not even enough to get most people's attention, let alone start a thread about it. |
