New Orleans Saints' Kai Forbath on winning FG: 'That's kind of what I do this for'
The New Orleans Saints' Kai Forbath said his winning 50-yard field goal as time expired in the 52-49 victory Sunday against the New York Giants was "kind of what I do this for." It was also why the added Forbath in place of Zach Hocker after his release 13 days earlier.
"They're good nerves," Forbath said about the feeling as he lined up for what he said was his fifth winning field goal in the NFL. "It's like adrenaline." Forbath had successfully made each of his seven extra-point tries against the Giants, including one with 36 seconds left that tied the score at 49, when he returned to the field with 5 seconds left to kick the winner.  read more | |
