New Orleans Saints RB Khiry Robinson suffers broken leg, IR Bound
 

New Orleans Saints running back Khiry Robinson broke a bone in his leg on Sunday and will miss the rest of the season, coach Sean Payton said Monday.

Robinson underwent successful surgery to repair the fractured tibia on Sunday night, Payton said.

Now IR bound.

Get well soon Mr. Robinson. On a side note, Swann needs to shut it down. I'd hate to see him not playing because he has the skills, but concussions are more serious than football. Vaccaro has came back from his during his rookie year. Maybe he can do the same.

So sorry to see this happen. Let's hope modern technology gets Khiry back on his feet and into a uniform. All my hopes and prayers with him!

Speaking of Swann and concussions; isn't it mandatory protocol after three in one season you go to IR for the rest of the year?

Man he was torn up emotionally as they carted him off the field. Just too bad for a man who plays with heart. If he shows that kind of heart in rehab he will be back.

This dude will sign for vet minimum somewhere else next offseason and end up being a 1,000 yard rusher. Praying he has a quick and easy recovery... His career is far from over.

It is week 8 of the nfl season going toward week 9. If the Saints had really made a huge mistake with PT he would have caught on by now. I love the dude, great back for us, and did more than ever expected of him, but he is not coming back to NOLA.

Sad to see, but we need to move forward, and make the best of this. Make Ingram the featured back. Give him the ball 30 times a game. Stop rotating him in and out constantly.

Unfortunately that is not how Sean Payton operates in his approach to game planning. We could have Bo Jackson back there .. probably wouldn't matter.
