Toothless Kenny Vaccaro preaches resiliency in Saints' win vs. Giants
 

The Saints safety nearly tackled Jennings for a loss holding the tailback to just a 1-yard gain. Vaccaro lost something of his own on the play, though. He lost a tooth on the top of his mouth -- second to his left of center to be exact.

Vaccaro immediately came up from the tackle having been caught in the mouth by Jennings' shoe and dug in his mouth behind his mouthpiece. The tooth was gone.

And Vaccaro never came out the game.

Amazing how you can wear a helmet with a face mask, and have a mouth guard, but still manage to get your tooth knocked out.
