Browner needs to go
The defense is not good -- but Browner was a huge reason we lost this game. He needs to be excised. Now.

Re: Browner needs to go
And admit their mistake in free agency? lol
This guy will play and have one off the worst seasons by cornerbacks in NFL history... |
Re: Browner needs to go
If we told him to go, he would slip on the way out
|
Re: Browner needs to go
another 7 mill of dead moneyprorated for the rest of 2015 and 5 mill for 2016 to boot?
try this. keep browner inside and stop putting him outside. play him like SS. that is what the pats did for the most part. we knew what we were getting into when we signed him. dead horse talked about when he left Seattle. that was the knock on him even then |
Re: Browner needs to go
I see why other teams didn't sign him very fast when he hit Free agency and pretty much what hagan714 said.
|
Re: Browner needs to go
F**k the money. He is a cancer. Show him the door.
|
Re: Browner needs to go
Just bench him, no need to cut him yet, unless we need the roster spot for a 4th TE or back-up punter.
|
Re: Browner needs to go
Just like all season, even in the rare instance that he was in position today he grabbed the jersey anyway and got called. Again I ask....
WHY IS HE OUT THERE! If you're holding on every play you literally have no chance. Anyone who can at least TRY to make a play on the ball is automatically better than Browner. |
Re: Browner needs to go
That was brutal, give the Titan's credit they exploited and exposed Browner every time.
|
Re: Browner needs to go
Everyone knows he is worth at least 10 yards if not a PI. Get rid of him.
|
Re: Browner needs to go
If we can see it the coaches can see it. I am baffled that some kind of action hasn't been taken. I knew a guy who would say, "I'm gonna do SOMEthing, even if it's wrong."
We need to do SOMEthing. Even if it's wrong. |
Re: Browner needs to go
This is that so-called leadership ability by the way. His second confrontation with a reporter after a loss this season. I guess it was easy to be a leader when he was winning all the time the last two seasons. |

I would throw at him every play.

Maybe that's too much, but it's tempting. |
Re: Browner needs to go
Supposedly Browner is a good mentor to the young kids
He was brought here to deal with the calvin benjamin 6' 5" guys in the conference Let him mentor from the bench or have him take Byrd's spot He can hit someone in cover over the top |

Re: Browner needs to go
... but Brandon Browner SUCKS on and off the field.
|
Re: Browner needs to go
Well he is the most penalized DB in the league I believe. The LB injuries were a huge problem yesterday.
The biggest question to me is, why we cannot seem to game plan to cover a freaking TE? |
Re: Browner needs to go
He's got 15 penalties, leads the league, and it's not even close -- nobody else is even in double digits.
|
Re: Browner needs to go
Maybe we could start a GoFundMe to make up the dead money hit we would take if we released him? I would donate in a heartbeat if someone started that.

Re: Browner needs to go
He had 15 all of last year! He's matched it in 9 games! Most penalized single player in the league last year, as well, when he was still with the Patriots. By comparison, he only had 5 called on him in 2013 when he was previously in Seattle (where everybody on the team was doing it, on almost every play).
To me, this stat really sorta proves what people were saying about the Seahawks back in 2013 -- that they really were strategically committing defensive penalties on almost every play -- holding, bumping past 5 yards, illegal contact, mugging, punching face masks, grabbing jerseys, etc -- knowing full well that the refs would not dare to step in and call them on it, every single time, if it was blatant enough on play after play after play. But when it's only one guy alone on the team doing it, instead of the whole secondary, he stands out so badly that the ref pretty much HAS to reach for the hankie. |

Cut this guy already! |
Re: Browner needs to go
I'd be angry to play beside him right now. There's being bad, then's there's being completely horrible, and then... There's Browner. Completely horrible, terrible sportsman, and an awful example for a bunch of young guys.
He is beyond just football bad, now. He's poison. I would not put up with him as a teammate, and I sure wouldn't keep him on my team if I were an executive. There's going to be a cap hit, but we've seen before (galette) that sometimes that isn't as important. |
Re: Browner needs to go
To be honest I was done with Browner before the season started. The statement he made about wanting to be back in Seattle made me question him even being here or even wanting to be here. We were the only ones willing to offer this fool any money and now he is biting us in the arse.
He needs to go....I wish we could trade him to the CFL for a box of maple cookies. |
Re: Browner needs to go
I'm tellin' ya man....we are ****ed this season anyway. Bye bye Browner.
