New Orleans Saints work out wide receiver Preston Parker
 

The Saints brought in wide receiver Preston Parker for a work out on Monday, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport

Parker, who started the year with the Giants, had a problem with dropped passes through two games with New York, which ultimately led to his release on Sep. 22. Parker had three drops credited to him, although some could argue more. Out of his 17 targets, he only managed 8 receptions.

The undrafted fourth year man out of the University of North Alabama had a previous stint with the Saints. He signed with the organization in January of 2013 but was released during the final cuts in training camp.

Parker has 85 career receptions for 1,057 yards and 5 touchdowns.

I remember he played awesome in preseason when Kenny Stills was a rookie, was really surprised Parker didn't get a spot with us.

I think Sean Payton has an OCD type of thing, where he works out receivers and kickers whenever he's frustrated by something else that he can't actually fix. He has to play with his toys and look for some shiny new thing he hasn't played with before. The boy can't leave them alone.

A few years ago I thought he had a great Saints camp & was surprised he was cut (solid special teamer). Saw him while with the Giants and unfortunately Preston isn't much of a WR. Hands of stone.

I can see him in the slot. Ok we have TJ and Coleman active at WR. which will they send packing or if he works out who else will get the cut?
