When season ends, 2 home losses will keep us out of playoffs
Tampa Bay and Tennessee
Two games we have no excuse for losing in the Dome. I'd bet money right now that if you add two wins to our 2015 finish it would have been good enough to make the postseason. |
Re: When season ends, 2 home losses will keep us out of playoffs
You can always have the what ifs...
Fact is we lost for a reason, and that because the Defense is complete ****. We wont make the playoffs because of the Defense being the worst in the league. |
Re: When season ends, 2 home losses will keep us out of playoffs
regardless if we won or not.... the Saints this year, just aint playoff caliber. Making the playoffs and going one and done, would just make the misery longer, and would be pointless.

F the post season... we don't deserve nor should we accept it.
Clean house already!!! Making the play offs is just going to keep this dead dog alive another year. |

Not sure we should clean house totally but a good start would be a hiring a defensive coaching staff that knows what their doing.

Re: When season ends, 2 home losses will keep us out of playoffs
Well against the bucs Brees was playing hurt and we didn't do anything off of one of the turnovers ntm. Our defense got quite a few stops in the second half. We can blame the defense for that. But we don't have a defense capable of shutting a team down an entire half without scoring enough points ourselves.

^Unpopular opinion we win against TB with McCown.

@Washington is probably one of them, and maybe @Atlanta? With a tight NFC 10 wins is probably a 60% shot at a playoff spot, so we have to go 6-1 in our next 7. It may not be likely, but its not impossible. Especially if we fire Ryan's ass before the bye week. |
Re: When season ends, 2 home losses will keep us out of playoffs
Playoffs begin Sunday for this team.
Win 7 straight or they will not be playing the 2nd weekend in January... |
Re: When season ends, 2 home losses will keep us out of playoffs
oh it will a lot more than losing to Tampa and Tennessee that will keep the Saints out of the playoffs. This year's team doesn't deserve it anyways

Re: When season ends, 2 home losses will keep us out of playoffs
Home game losses hurt more since we lost our Dome advantage.
|
Re: When season ends, 2 home losses will keep us out of playoffs
only time there was a dome advantage in the last 8 home games was for the Falcons TNF game otherwise it feels like I'm at a golf tournament some games
Not to call anyone out but just seems after the success of 2009, the crowd doesn't "bring it" like it did before and during that season |

I am still waiting for the bi week for the playoff band wagon to stop in front of the house.
It always comes down to divisions games IMO. you have to win at home and steal the ones you can on the road to even have a chance at talking about playoffs |
Re: When season ends, 2 home losses will keep us out of playoffs
Did we win the rest of the games?
|
Re: When season ends, 2 home losses will keep us out of playoffs
Being a bad football team will keep us out of the playoffs.

Re: When season ends, 2 home losses will keep us out of playoffs
Just beat the damn Redskins.
If Kurt Cousins looks like the second coming of Joe Montana on sunday, say bye bye to the Big Lebowski aka Rob Ryan. Black Monday is approaching. |

Not yet :) I'm just expecting typical Saints luck - sitting there in week 17 hoping that 2 or 3 mediocre teams lose to another mediocre team so we can back into the playoffs. Honestly I'd rather see us miss out by 3 or more if we don't make it in so I don't have to reflect back on the two soil-yourself performances vs Bucs and Titans and think "coulda, woulda, shoulda"... |
Re: When season ends, 2 home losses will keep us out of playoffs
Our defense is what is going to keep us out of the playoffs.
