Saints analyst Hokie Gajan says ready to beat cancer
Best wishes and prayers for Hokie!
NEW ORLEANS -- Hokie Gajan has learned that he has cancer, but the WWL Saints Color Analyst says he is ready to beat the disease, according to WWL Radio. "I feel great," he said today. "I'm doing the Saints game Sunday in Washington." Hokie plans to be alongside Jim Henderson in the broadcast booth when the Saints take on the Redskins at noon Sunday. The longtime color analyst, Saints scout, Saints running back and LSU running back is waiting for further test results to determine specifics of the cancer and develop a plan of attack. "I'll get my diagnosis & treatment schedule next week, and I hope to be in that booth calling the games with Jim for as long as I can stand him."
