Almost 400 by halftime to one of the worst offenses in the NFL is inexcusable. There is no way, no how there is no accountability for this mess.

27 points, 400+ yards, 140+ QB passer rating is a bad defensive performance for a game. It's only halftime.

I'm not a D-coordinator. But I can see when something is not working. The Saints should go cover-1 with Byrd, blitz every down and put their best cover people (Lewis, Breaux, Swann) on the receivers and TE.

If you going to give up 10 20-yard+ plays in a half, you may was well blitz every down. Send Vaccaro, Browner, Hawthorne, Dunbar, and anyone else who cannot cover into the backfield each and every down.

How could that be any worse than what we're seeing now?
