Brandon Browner didn't commit a penalty or launch into a locker-room tirade this week but he still managed to create controversy.

During Matt Jones' 78-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter of the New Orleans Saints' 47-14 loss to Washington Redskins on Sunday, the embattled New Orleans Saints cornerback elected to take a cheap shot at Redskins guard Spencer Long rather than attempt to tackle Jones near mid-field.

This and the "lost in the lights" play from Delvin Breaux, pretty much summed up the defense for this year. Definitely material worthy of the old school "Football Follies" of yore! All it needs is a voice over by Mel Blanc.

Certainly looked uncalled for, pure frustration, he should be reprimanded.

At least he got angry. Which is more than we can say about the rest of the defense. Especially the D-Line. Slow and easily handled.

Think he was trying to tackle someone, he just didn't know who had the ball, or where he was, or which way they were traveling. just proves how sideways this cat really is......absolute dog sh** play. Something you would expect from a sw high school team. Pretty bush league in my book.

nope your allowed to take out blockers to allow your team mates to make the tackle.
