Saints-Panthers game flexed to later time
The NFL has decided that more people should be able to see the Saints and Panthers play on Dec. 6.
Previously scheduled to start at noon, the game has been moved back to a 3:25 p.m. kickoff. Saints-Panthers game flexed to later time - Black and Gold |

Re: Saints-Panthers game flexed to later time
Cool, more time to enjoy the city before the game now. Just bites its the son's first game in the dome but like I told him: "hey the Saints were worse than this when I was your age"

Re: Saints-Panthers game flexed to later time
Panthers and Cam are probably going to the SB this year.... It would be sweet to beat them n the dome !

Re: Saints-Panthers game flexed to later time
I would have never guessed the Panthers would be in this position but so it is. They have been really fortunate with injuries. Almost too fortunate. They would be smart to start resting players in a couple of weeks.

Re: Saints-Panthers game flexed to later time
I think it sucks this game was flexed. We play at our worst on late Sundays. Look at the history.
Arizona 19 points offensively L31-19 2014 Minnesota? 20 points offensively W20-9 2013 TB 16 points offensively W16-14 NE 27 points offensively L30-27(but struggled most of the game) SF 23 points offensively W23-20 StL I can't remember but it was bad. TB Cannot remember but we won a blowout. 2012 GB 27 points offensively(when we scored 34 in 11)L28-27 Oak bad team, didn't matter SF 21 points offensively(one a KO return or int TD), L31-21 NYG 27 points offensively L52-27 We don't play well in late games before SNF. |

Saints play Carolina late? Who wants to see that... outside of Carolina?

"We don't play well in late games before SNF."
The Saints don't play on SNF anymore this year; next primetime game is MNF Dec 21 @ home against Detroit. |
Re: Saints-Panthers game flexed to later time
I said before SNF, as in between the early games and SNF.

Re: Saints-Panthers game flexed to later time
Tough year.
First we got waggled, nearly to death, then rolled out. Now flexed. This season is like medieval torture up in here. To the pain. https://timkanebooks.files.wordpress...themachine.jpg |
Re: Saints-Panthers game flexed to later time
Man I hate those flex games.

Re: Saints-Panthers game flexed to later time
If Dallas can pull the win on thanksgiving against them, maybe they will be in a downward spiral when we get them. Their defense, especially the LB's, will reek havoc on Drew the way they are playing right now.

Re: Saints-Panthers game flexed to later time
Good. Win lose or draw, I was planning on getting rip roaring drunk for this one. This will only make it easier.

Re: Saints-Panthers game flexed to later time
DA will not let Cam Newton run wild. Containment on the outside is essential.

IMO, screw all that, play like it just don't matter. Go after that fu**er with everything we can. Our defense has been the laughing stock the entire season anyway. Go out like warriors. |
Re: Saints-Panthers game flexed to later time
I get to see the D. Newtons gotten way to comfortable winning. This game exposes his flaws even if we lose, we win.
