With how little separation our receivers get in some games, he makes very tight throws. Very risky at times, but very clutch when they work out.

If Brees had decent protection and an average running game he would throw half as many picks. The guy has been forced to do it by himself for the last few years now. Having one of the worst defenses over the last few years has put far too much pressure on Brees and Co.

He's a hell of a player but man does he make dumb decisions sometimes.

The ones that annoy me the most are on 3rd and 10 when he's determined to stay in the pocket, when he could easily run for a first. Then goes deep to a triple covered brandin Cooks.

The fact that he is one of the best QBs at going through all his reads, and he still ends up throwing to someone in double or triple coverage, just shows how little separation some of WRs are getting.

No one remembers the pre-Brees days I guess. I cherish every day this guy takes snaps for us and don't look forward to the day we have someone else.

The only other QB to even come close to Brees is Archie, all the rest have been garbage so I'll enjoy whatever he does until he's gone

No matter what ANYBODY SAYS...Archie never came close to Brees.
Now his SONs.... That's another story... I think Archie may prove to be the better DAD though. ;)

I'm pretty sure most of us remember those days. I don't think anyone is really bashing Drew. Only wondering what Ben Watson Watson means by "you have to catch it".

Now I'm not sure what Benjamin actually means by his quote. My take on it is that Drew most times puts the ball on the Receivers hands making it easy to catch.

Yes! Drew does throw some bad ints but most of the time he puts the ball right on the money so in other words

"Drew throws the ball so accurately that you have to catch it"!

I think what he meant was he will throw it into triple coverage so you have to catch it. Either that or the defender is behind you and will catch an interception if you don't snag it.
