and then doing nothing to keep extending the lead is uncalled for. Of course we will get defense and then Drew will just suck again next year because he'll have nobody to throw to and the oline will have more injuries.

I don't think you know what it is going to do to me if Brees' has less sb rings than an african american qb that has no class.

And Danno you basically are acting like Carolina's defense is better than last year or the year before and as good as Chicago 06 when they have layed nobody but cream puffs offenses. They have not played a single great offense all season.

Our offense did nothing for a very long stretch of this game. We scored a defensive touchdown and had the PAT block return for two more points. We didn't score any offensive points after the first touchdown till late in the third. The amount of points we ended up scoring were very misleading. We didn't have many yards or sustained drives. The 4th quarter was the only time we looked to have an actual offense.

But we still could have won, if not for Browner's instant offense all day long. I know we can always point to this guy, or that play, or that coach... But if we are honest with ourselves, you can honestly say that Browner single handedly lost us this game. When a guy gets blown by or flagged THAT many times, it doesn't even matter what anyone else did. He doesn't deserve to be called a professional.

The color of anyone's skin should never be a factor of anything...even a division rival's starting QB.

Hate to say it, but this was a classic woulda-shoulda-coulda game in the old Saints tradition.

Cam's a prima donna - even Cam himself would probably admit to it. Just the way it is, but he'll get exposed soon enough.

I was so happy to see Cam get clocked when he tried to look cool on his way to the endzone, like he always does. I was thinking as soon a he started coasting that he was awfully premature, and then to see him in fact not make it, and get crushed... That was great. Then they get a stuff on the next play.

But, naturally, YOU KNOW WHO had to make it all for naught on 3rd down. Chalk up another to the great one.

I hate cam newton too but because he is a ass and a dick and spoiled crybaby all rolled into one not cause of his skin color. They say liquor brings out your true feelings and if your not drunk then wow.

We put up almost 40 points on the number two defense in the league and the best team in the league. How can you blame an offense for that? Pair that with the fact we forced 3 turnovers. On what planet is that an offenses fault? You guys expectations are way outside the realm of reality. 3 turnovers plus 30 plus points should be enough to beat any team in the NFL.

Yes we suck and there is blame to go around but this game was encouraging when you look at it beside the losses to Washington, Tennessee, and Houston. It was a good game and our defense did show signs of improvement. I guess some of you are still holding onto the dream we still might make the playoffs.

Your post confuses me. Are you saying the offense forced the three turnovers? The defense was not very good other than the turnovers, but it was mostly one player who was responsible for the majority of our problems on D.

We scored a defensive touchdown, got the block-two pointer on special teams, and did nothing with the other turnovers. The offense only showed up late. There's more to judging how a team plays than looking at the scoreboard. The scoreboard is what matters, as far as the outcome, but it doesn't always tell the story of how a team played. We did not look good at much of anything, other than the 4th quarter offense.

I don't like Cam's braggadocio -- he is not an elite QB -- but all indications are that he thinks he is. The other thing, I don't like about him, besides his ego, is that he is the QB for a division rival.

I think he meant, overall, it was a good game and showed the potential this team has. IMO, they looked like a 12-4 team out there, in spite of the loss. 4 or 6 lead changes, plenty of pressure on Cam, offense had good results vs one of the leagues best defenses ... there was just a lot of positives vs what we've seen thus far. Yeah, if Ginn coulda' got under a few of those bombs, it wouldn't of been that close and if Browner wasn't such a hack ...

That two-pointer by Special Teams was awesome! Another one for the record books, first one in the history of the NFL ... don't know when they changed the rules, I thought it was a TD, :lol:.

Or Vacarro's personal foul that extended the play and led to a Carolina score, :neutral: ... these guy's can't let Browner rub off on them, just sayin'.

I feel good about our defense getting turn overs but I don't like not scoring on those possessions. We lost this game to a tough team......an undefeated team.

I'm not as upset after the loss because there were several positives to take away from this. We started a ton of rookies and they had a positive impact throughout the game. #50 is the real deal. Drew is still a great QB and Ingram looks like he can shoulder the load.
