Marques Colston isn’t the type to talk about himself.

Not at all.

The veteran wide receiver would rather talk about the rest of his team. In the locker room after New Orleans sealed a 24-17 win over Tampa Bay, a reporter asked Colston what his two touchdown catches meant to him after doing so much dirty work over the middle this season. Colston responded by talking about what those touchdowns meant to his team.

“It just meant points for our offense,” Colston said. “Really, it’s just putting points on the board for the team.”

Great player, great Saint, and even better person. Humbleness is a scarce trait in this league. No elaborate TD celebrations, no "dabbing", his has been my game-day Jersey now for almost a decade.

Definitely my favorite saints WR ever.... I did name my 2nd child Colston.... My 1st child's name is Drew... They have no chance but to be saints fans ! Who Dat !

Just like wearing cotton in the rain, I call him the silent killer. I have always taught my son that your actions on the field will speak for themselves. No cocky arrogance, no off the field antics, consument professional. A lot of young players could learn a ton from him. I believe he epitomizes the last 6-10 years of our team….. hard working, small school barely recognized at the college level, turned all pro, world champion. I think the best compliment of all is saying he is exactly how I would want my son to be…..both he and Sam M. my two favorite.

I guess no one is going to be gut honest about him so that leaves the dirty work me.....got nothing total class act since day one

He's inconsistent but this game did tell me something, it wasn't just Brees' team and thats probably why we are 5-8.

My guess also is he needs volume now at his age and others like Snead and Coleman cannot take away from him. He's not going to do well with limited targets.
