I was expecting Wilson to be benched after those two calls, but he wasn't even yelled at on the sideline - at least it wasn't shown on the TV feed if it happened.

Lost respect for the staff because of it...

Agreed. Remember that ESPN special A Football Life featuring Jimmie Johnson & they asked him and Bill Bellicheck ... "what is the most important thing you must have to be successful in the NFL?". They both stated .. "you can't win with dumb players".

Saints have several dumb players.

If you took Browner out of the equation, the Saints immediately drop from 3rd most penalties to 10th. Take away Browner's 200+ yards given up on penalties, and that alone moves the defense out of next-to-dead-last and puts the defense in the mid 20s ranking in yards given up, which is kinda where everybody has always said we needed to be in order to win with Drew. It's sad, really. I can't help but get the sinking feeling that if it weren't for this one poor choice in a player by the coaches/GM, the Saints defense and their offense could have been quite respectable this year.

I feel the same way that Vaccaro does, Goodell's plan to pussify the NFL is a success. Its almost impossible to play defense in today's NFL

Kenny V, #39 and more recently Kyle Wilson. These guys are veterans and should know better by now how the game is played and officiated.

He was taken out of the game for a couple plays. Kind of in a bad spot to bench him when you don't have any depth.
