It all depends on how well Grayson has progressed. He will be on the 90 man roster and could be trade bait if Grayson is developing at an acceptable pace for Payton. He did look good on the field and in his commercial which may put him on other teams radar.

He's been on so many teams and he's pretty much an old man. I don't even know how a backup goes on IR. Still unclear on that one. I think he is good as gone. Grayson will be the reserve, maybe the starter if Brees is flushed out.

It doesn't matter. I see no reason why we can't go into the season with just Brees and Grayson.

luke may have improved in his old age watching brees over the years, may be good trade bait next season, could be why he was'nt cut, or given a injury settlement . if some starters go down we might get a call by some desperate teams.

Good Lord, so many stupid things here. Drew is going no where. Why would he???? He is the only person on offense preforming. Yes, he will fix his contract by extending it. GG is not ready. If he was, they would not of brought in another QB when Luke went down. Luke is 400 years old. He will not start here or anywhere else. The only people talking about drew not staying is people on this board.

This. If someone else doesnt come after him he will be here and he and Grayson will battle it out again. I dont think Grayson is gonna cut it.

I think the OP meant as a backup. I didnt get that he was insenuating that he would be our starter.

I think it's pretty much up to Luke if he comes back or not, I believe he is an UFA in 2016. My belief is the Saints will go in another direction and opt for a younger QB with upside.

This team does not know how to draft a quarterback. They waist picks on these guys. Can't complain about the Brees trade but where do we go from here. Everyone talks about Archie but he never won anything. Afterwards we never had a good one till Brees. That is troubling.
