With Hicks it's more about inconsistency. He has shown flashes of being very good on occasion. He has disappeared in a few Pats games as well.

He, like others wasn't used well.
There was a good article I read on the move. The patriots are all about penetration, where or scheme was more complicated and focused on zone/gap assignments.

That in combination with actual position coaching made a difference.

Um, he has stats from the game after we traded him, gonna go ahead and disagree. This is his thing, couple of good games a year, non-existent in the rest. Same MO here

He disappeared all season and had a 2 sack game vs Chicago and their 32nd ranked O line in 2014

Hicks doing what he does best, playing hard for 1 game a year.

For his size I thought he was going to be a beast no matter 4-3 or 3-4, he has peaked or got lazy, either way I'm not worried, wouldn't have made a impact on our D- line anyway.
