New Orleans Saints officially eliminated from 2015 playoffs
 

The New Orleans Saints (5-8) have been officially eliminated from postseason contention.

The Saints had a very slim chance of making the playoffs if they won out and had a series of events fall into their favor during the next few weeks. To even stay in the hunt, they needed either the Vikings or Seahawks to lose on Sunday.
