Saints committed zero defensive penalties Sunday

I knew Browner didn't get flagged, but I looked at the game tracker and saw that the Saints defense also wasn't penalized.

Good job!

He only didnt get flagged because he was chasing a shadow

Browner played on Sunday?

I thought it was a tackling dummy wearing his number...

Thats a massive improvement which MUST be carried into the last game of the season against the Falcons!

Well done defence!

I can't help but wonder how many more games we may have won if we had a healthy Keenan Lewis opposite Breaux and played Browner strictly in nickel and dime packages.

Ahhh, the what ifs!!!

I give us at least 4 more wins...

Might seem like a lot but being the highest penalized player in the history of the game it has some merit. Without Browner our D might have been ranked in the low 20s.

Cut #39 this off season and admit the signing was a mistake.

His play all season has been nothing short of terrible.

Id say that's about right.

I thought they left the D home and played the offense both ways...

Penalties or not they gave up 28 points to a Jag team that averages 24 pionts a game. Who knows what we give up with penalties. This win is on the O beating a good D.

With or without RR as the coord? Without I am going to guess 4.

The Jags offense is not great, but their no slouch. They're ranked 16th, their d is ranked 21rst.

Loved it when they tried to throw to Breaux's side

Browner must go
Cut Byrd too
He has no fire, never anywhere near to help out a play
Ball hawk. 22 int with Buffalo. 1 int with New Orleans

Benson paid the refs off.

Browner can be better if he avoids the flags. Next year he should be our number 3 CB so that should help. Hell to be honest I think we drop vaccaro and give Browner a shot at SS.

Byrd will be helped by a improved pass rush, which is the reason why our defense sucks so much. Richardson as our starting DE is a joke, he would be lucky to make the practice squad on other teams.

Biggest needs imo
DE
DT
ILB
OG

Browner and no penalties? Was there a unicorn at the Superdome too?

Can't help but wonder if we'd spent the Browner money on LG Clint Boling (moving Lelito to RG) or NT Terrance Knighton, how many more wins we would've had?

Wasn't sure Browner played yesterday till he blew that coverage on a sideline play...

I got to agree with needs and I'll add TE and OLB

I agree with both of you, except for ILB.

We're a 4-3 defense and Anthony will be fine as our MLB.

IMO our top off-season needs are...

DE (Weak side)
DT
OG
OLB
WR
K
TE

Thats assuming we keep/resign key players already on the roster.

The Saints played the Giants and absolutely no flags were called on the Giants defense

I am sure a stink was raised so to cover it uo Roger dictated from NYC headquarters to let it slide

That or they want to screw with our draft picks
