Drew Brees Electrifies, New Orleans Obliterates Atlanta In Front Of Fed-Up Georgia Dome.
I hope the game goes exactly like this!
The New Orleans Saints are going to obliterate the Atlanta Falcons in their own building on Sunday New Orleans' substandard defense will look like the '85 Chicago Bears by the end of this one, and Drew Brees will lead the Saints down the field like a heard of savages on their first drive, ultimately setting the tone for how the contest will play out. In the end, the Saints will be heading back to New Orleans with a 14-point win, and Falcons head coach Dan Quinn will be left to wonder what happened to the team that started the campaign 6-1 in his first year on the job. 10 Bold Predictions For Week 17 Of NFL Season |
Re: Drew Brees Electrifies, New Orleans Obliterates Atlanta In Front Of Fed-Up Georgia Dome.
That would be great if the game was to go that way for the Saints but am I right in thinking that the Falcons, with a win against the Saints, would mathematically at least, still be in with a chance of a playoff spot?
If that is so, you just know they are going to bring their A game. Also, their chests are still going to be puffed up after being the team that put a stop to the Panthers unbeaten run. Also its an inter-divisional game and we are in their house, their fans are going to be very, very loud. But putting all that to one side, ha! ha! We have Drew (hope the foot injury is getting better) and the rest of boys. The falcons don't :-). Offensively, I think we will be ok! Defensively, They need to put in another penalty free performance (ESPECIALLY YOU BROWNER!) and really hassle Ryan all day and keep him off balance. A few good, hard hitting sacks from Cameron Jordan and the his friends would be nice to see. GEAUX SAINTS! :-) |

Well, this should be an all guns blazing game then as both teams end their seasons today as we will be only playing for pride, (although against the Falcons, that can mean a lot) and perhaps the result may make a difference in where we pick in the draft. I'll let all you stats experts sort that one out ha! ha!. :-) GEAUX SAINTS! |

Well we did it, JUST! Ha! Ha! But a great result all the same!
I knew it was going to be close, but a field goal in the last seconds to nail the win was even closer than I expected, Phew!. Well done to Forbath for keeping his cool and getting the FG but was it just me or did it look like the field goal only just cleared the finger tips of the Falcons players on its way through the uprights??? Maybe it was the camera angle. GEAUX SAINTS!!! :-) |
