Not happy with that.

Re: Third place in the south
I'm just saying. That if we turn it around next year a wild card is more realistic than division.

Re: Third place in the south
The season just ended today. A lot can happen in an offseason. The Panthers had the same record as we do now last year and look at them now.

No one is.

That means we select before them in the draft. There is an advantage to that.

Re: Third place in the south
Hopefully the trend ends but third place has been the death spot in the division. And the only other team I can see winning the division is Carolina but there's something to be said about doubting a team after two seasons. Detroit, Washington prove that. When you think you got a team figured out they pull the rug from under you. So Atlanta could be good next year, as could TB and not choke down the stretch. Atlanta has been copying our placements though so they will not win division. And TB I don't think is ready either.
I actually in my way too early assessing of the schedule based on seeing us in last place have us going 13-3, winning 3 games against the west(losing at Arizona), 4-0 against the AFC West(but Rivers appears to be staying in SD so that could be harder than expected but 2-2 is realistic because of KC/SD on road), 1-1 in swing games(beat lions, lose at cowboys now giants) and 5-1 in division. I may have gotten too ahead of myself with 5-1 in division. Carolina now gets Minnesota instead of GB |
