Drew Brees won't require offseason surgery for heel, shoulder injury
 

Doctors have told New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees that he won't require surgery for either of the two injuries that he battled in 2015, according to a report by ESPN.

Brees told NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune this week that he wouldn't require surgery on his foot or shoulder during the offseason. ESPN reported that Brees flew to Charlotte Tuesday to be evaluated by Dr. Robert Anderson, who recommended 4-6 weeks of rest before returning to training and football activities.
