I gotta question. If 2017 is supposed to be major cap relief for the Saints,can we spend big in FA and dump off most of the load of their contracts in 2017? Can contracts be set up like that? If it can, I think it would be worth going after Malik Johnson and let the bulk of his contract fall into next years cap. If Drew restructures, we will be able to grab about 3 or 4 mid teir players(WR,G,TE). Then we could do like Carolina and draft DT with the first two picks.

From what I understand they've signed him to play left tackle. This does kind of pertain to us though because that's what Terron Armstead will be looking for.
