This franchise has essentially gone nowhere in the last 5 years. You have to slice the baloney awfully thin to come up with a reason to feel good about any of this.

It's not going to be any better next year, and we are likely not to see a truly competitive team until 2018. In order to feel good, you have to do things differently than those that are producing the bad feelings to begin with. So far, nothing is really different.

This starts with the front office. Managing the cap, finding uninjured talent and getting a handle on the team's personalities.

Then coach the hell out of them. Figure out what the Seahags and Pats are doing and do that. Why do we have to look more like the Browns or (gasp) the FailClowns?
