Andy Reid left the table set for Chip Kelly and Kelly dismantled a winner...

...that's what Kelly's epithet will read on his Eagles tenure...

That new "Up Tempo" offense is something!! They've run 12 plays already!!

what an awful job ownership has done with the 49ers... Built a brand new beautiful stadium and that team wont be relevant for another 10 years...

Chip Kelly runs a gimmick offense that puts a lot of pressure on the D. On top of that, he doesnt know how to individually manage and motivate players so he just gets rid of them.

Yeah I don't see how this makes them better. I'm guessing the niners think that Chip is going to make Kaepernick a superstar in his system, but they are sadly mistaken. First, having an athletic QB doesn't automatically mean that he can run the system. Kaepernick is terribly inaccurate, and defenses don't have to respect that part of his game. So that takes a lot of guess work out of defending the spread/option.

That's the first part of the problem. Second, Kelly has proven he doesn't have the right personality to handle grown men, and he is a terrible decision maker. All the cries of racism that were thrown his way were total BS, but there is no doubting he gutted that team of it's talent. He won't be handling personnel anymore, but that's yet another problem... Chip won't like not bringing in his own players.

26-21 (0-1 playoffs) as head coach in almost 3 years with Iggles.

Let's say he does 1/2 as well with 49ers...

I don't want to see San Fran win 13 more games this century.

Will he make them a winner?

Probably not.

Will he make them better than they currently are?

I think so

This is what I was thinking about when SFran made the hire ... Harbaugh was losing that group when he left and now you're gonna' bring in basically another college level type coach? Chip may have some initial success, but he'll lose the team in the end unless he learns to deal with professional players on a professional level, IMO.

On the plus side, they'll still suck,.

Yeah, I mean this is true. He went 10-6 twice with Reid's guys. He then fired them all and went 7-9.
