How is he too greedy? Almost half the QB's in the league have bigger contracts than Brees. He simply got what the market was willing to pay. Twenty-five, or more, other teams would have loved to have had Brees at those exact same numbers. This is a business and the players are businessmen first and foremost. Any QB stupid enough to sign a deal for less than their market value is an idiot and I certainly don't want an idiot at QB.
Brees and his contract have NEVER been an issue with the Saints success, or lack thereof. |
