Saints running back Deuce McAllister has filed a civil lawsuit against RazzooÃƒÂ¢Ã¢Â‚Â¬Ã¢Â„Â¢s nightclub claiming that he was accosted by bouncers during Mardi Gras 2004.

The suit accuses the bouncers of punching McAllister in the face and placing him in a chokehold that caused him to lose consciousness and fall to his knees.

It alleges that the treatment came after McAllister asked why his friends were being escorted out of the bar.

ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢Â‚Â¬Ã…Â“The defendants, negligently overreacted to the inquiries made by the petitioner and aid their hands on him, punching him in the face and about his body,ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢Â‚Â¬? said the suit.

McAllister claimed he suffered double vision, cuts bruise and abrasions for an undetermined period of time.

The suit seeks unspecified damages.

McAllisterÃƒÂ¢Ã¢Â‚Â¬Ã¢Â„Â¢s attorney Donald Foret said the Saints player is out of town and has no comment.
