Wants to be considered a starter, has good heart and makes a difference when he's out there, IMO. Lions would be stupid not to wrap him up, so that means he'll probably be available, ![]() |

Not sure the scouts knew what to write about him. One said "he's good in coverage." I am guessing that was man coverage. Yet another "He doesn't look natural when dropping into zone coverage and shouldn't be put in a scheme in which he has to defend the pass often." So I am going with zone coverage was the knock on the kid and his instincts in zone. Well that what a MLB is all about in coverage and from what I have seen he has made the most of it. A move back to WLB may just be the break this kid needs and for some team to reap the rewards of all the time in the middle. I do not think he is looking for a long term contract as much as an honest shot. He should not break the bank. He gets an honest shot on a team with a glaring weakness at WLB and we get quality depth upgrade at the least as a stop gap measure if the starter bit does not work out. From what i saw his game appears to have come along way. |
"We may have lost the game, but you'll be hurting tomorrow." Doug Atkins
