Re: Hau'oli Kikaha 2015 Highlights
Kikaha, Breaux, Swann and Anthony make me excited to see how they blossom next season. If Davidson turn it up and push the middle or they bring in a dt that can give that push our days of being last in defense will be over

do not forget P.J. Williams or Davis Tull, we have yet to see what they have to offer either.

Re: Hau'oli Kikaha 2015 Highlights
I heard that because Kikaha suffered a sprain in his ankle late last season, he didn't play much after Allen took over and when he did play he didn't rush the passer much.

Browner was either giving up a huge cushion or he was trying to jam as long as he could. Either way Browner always ended up in chase mode. Safeties had to babysit Browner and try to help Kikaha in run support. So DA had Kikaha more in a read and react mode than the attacking mode he started the season in. It worked for the most part. Injuries had their part but the fact browner was always in chase mode with his back to the play made him pretty much useless in run support. I am sure DA knows Kikaha is best in attack mode and making plays behind the line. I think DA went back and used the same approach the pats did. Pats had the same injury issues at CB for a few games when Browner was there and Rob Ninkovich had to do the same thing when Browner was forced to play out on the edges. Not having Keenan Lewis on the field had a huge effect on run support on that side and change the way the saints could use Kikaha. Some thing Rob Ryan could not wrap his head around. DA made the adjustments that was needed |

Re: Hau'oli Kikaha 2015 Highlights
Just need some talent on the line and we'll have a respectable defense next year.
DT in the first DE in the second A mix of solid but cheap additions on D We could be top 10 again. |

Re: Hau'oli Kikaha 2015 Highlights
Kikaha would be awesome if he had a big, powerful DE that would just set the edge and open the pass rush lane for him...
Cam Jordan gets washed into him and Kikaha still finds ways to make plays... |
