Last year I remember thinking we wouldn't and we ended up getting one. This year teams like Baltimore, San Diego, and SF had bad seasons which likely renders them ineligible for SNF games. And they have more appeal than all of the other 7-9 teams. However this could be the one that knocks us out:LA Rams. They could not get a SNF any other season with that record but because they are now in LA they might get a home opener there.

I currently have us playing Seattle on SNF with Arizona playing NE and Carolina going to Denver. Carolina will likely play Seattle as well for their other game and Seattle will play Arizona for their third game and Arizona's other game. Denver and NE will have two others in the conference(including division games and Indy for Denver and Pittsburgh for NE). But there's the debate of if NBC wants Seattle/NE that bad and if Fox will take Seattle/NO for a late gotw. Possibly Carolina can play Arizona, Seattle can play NE, and NO hosts Denver. I don't think NBC wants us at cards on SNF.

Now if the rams get involved and get a home game for LA reasons, then they could play Arizona, freeing up NE for Seattle and knocking us out. If LA were to play Carolina, then Seattle is playing both us and NE on SNF and won't play Carolina because Carolina will already go to LA out west. Arizona will then end up with just 1 game. The other options Atlanta I have playing GB, Washington two division games, Jets playing NE, and Minnesota playing GB(GB's annual NBC division game). TB, Buffalo, Miami, SF, LA(because they would have one) are not options at all.

So do we get screwed over for the LA rams on NBC?
