Source: Saints would like to bring back kicker Kai Forbath
The New Orleans Saints have had discussions with Kai Forbath and would like to bring the kicker back, a source told The Advocate.
Forbath, the veteran kicker who was signed midseason after the Saints cut Zach Hocker, made 9-of-13 field goals in 10 games with New Orleans. Forbath buried two game-winning kicks for the Saints, blasting a 50-yard kick through the uprights to beat the Giants and a 30-yarder to beat Atlanta in the season finale. But Forbath’s potential game-winner against Tennessee was blocked, one of two Forbath field goals that were blocked in New Orleans last season.
