I'm hoping for a Graham type trade again. Good picks will pay dividens in the future. I don't care what type of cap hit it cost I would shop Jordan.

Oh yeah, and Drew Brees.

Ideally, you'd like to build through the draft, but it's not like you can't upgrade your team in other ways. You just have to be good at what you're doing, and do a better job of identifying good players who won't break the bank. Since that championship team was constructed there has been a huge letdown in scouting and developing players, and also in making balanced financial decisions (not over-paying for one or two guys, and spreading it out with quality veterans instead).

At this point, I know there isn't enough left to do much else in free agency this year. Hoping for a few guys do fall in our proverbial lap in the draft.

I think a lot of people forget that.

Halloween...You know you say that...

but I can see recent draftees being traded to better fit Allen's 4-3...

We traded a very good tackle in Akiem Hicks for a backup tight end...

Hicks is a free agent that has gotten ZERO offers, he was far from a good tackle

Every TE in the NFL would be a back-up on the Pats.

Meaning we traded a starting defensive linemen for the Saints for a tight end that was a backup for the Saints...

Now he obviously fell out of favor - why?!? that's what I'd like to hear...

But the yield is undeniable and bears scrutiny...
