New Orleans Saints to play first 2 preseason games on road
 

The New Orleans Saints will play their first two preseason games on the road to allow time for the installation of new video boards, LED lighting and suites at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, Fox 8 reported Friday.

The Saints will then play their final two preseason games at home, after the installation of two state-of-the-art video boards above each end zone in the Dome.

The video boards will be 333 feet wide and 38 feet high, a 900 percent increase from the previous boards. The Saints contributed $25 million toward the installation of the boards.

People forget that the dome is booked nearly year round. It's probably the only time they had available to schedule it

easier to sell my preseason tix when the games are later

on a less selfish note, game 3 is usually the only one anyone cares about, so good to have it at home I guess

all preseason games should be in a secondary city, or college town.

instead of boring the local city with games no one wants, you excite a secondary city, like Shreveport. Last game in S'port, they treated it like
a bowl game, and there was a carnival atmosphere.

At New England week 1
At Houston for week 2!
Pittsburg in the Dome week 3
Baltimore in the dome week 4.

Actually, those are usually the games that your average families or fans can't afford regular season games get to attend; and, it's usually because the ticket owners beg people to take them...
