The Saints worked out at least three members of the Cal offense on Monday, including wide receivers Kenny Lawler and Darius Powe and tight end Stephen Anderson.

The Lawler news comes via a league source. Powe’s workout was reported by the National Football Post and Anderson’s workout was reported by the NFL Network.

Keep a lazy eye on Powe ... can really catch the ball well. Could be something there.

cal has some talent. always has. just not enough in the trenches to put it all together.

Keep looking under every rock and look at every option. I know that teams workout players that a divisional rival may have an interest in. I like the players that the Saints are looking at. There is a lot of potential there.

If Treadwell, Wentz, Goff, and maybe Elliot can all go ahead of #12, that would be great for the Saints.
