I know we are only a few hours into free agency, but my spirits are officially down. This seems like every other year of free agency since Haz has been here. I have yet to hear about anyone coming in for a visit with the team even. Skins have signed Rabach(Ravens C) and Samuels back, Rams have Coakley, cowboys got Ferguson, and to top it off Pierce is visiting Minny with the hope of having a contract in hand today(although it is reported he has given the skins the right to match any offer he gets). Left we forget though, Minny is 30 mil under the cap. What a freaking crock. I allowed myself to get swept up for about a week and this is the thanks I get. I don't care how early in FA it is, get someone's ass on a plane and in for a visit. At least generate some buzz, some talk, something. We suck. :realmad: :furious: :censored:

Hey bro....at some point you can do nothing but shake your head and laugh. I\'ve seen it too many times to be surprised that we aren\'t pursuing any big name impact players. That\'s just not the front office\'s philosophy. They look for value for a player. They would rather get a C+ player at an A+ price than get an A- player at a C- price.

Just to piss me off more, even though we don\'t need a receiver, the Ravens just signed Derrick Mason, their biggest need. Why do so many :censored: teams get it and we don\'t? WHY!!!!!!!!!!

It\'s been indicated that the biggest move the Saints will make is trading Darren Howard and getting an impact player. That may be a player who isn\'t a free-agent.

Also, Tebucky is more than likely gone. We should get our guy there.

And I\'m quite confident that we\'ll get someone to replace Victor Riley.

I\'m as impatient as the rest of you guys but let\'s give \'em some time...

OUCH! Just a question/ thought. I heard that O pace might be trade bait in rumours earlier this week and it was mentioned that replacing V Riley was one of the Saints needs. Could we not swing something with ST.Louis and get Pace here and then send Howard to Jacks for Darius? Would this pose a CAP problem adding these 2?
