Looks like the Norman situation opened some issues with Brees?
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'm wondering if Brees even really wants an extension. Last year For the first time in their career Brees and Payton openly butted heads on the field and in the press. Maybe he wants to see how this season shakes ...

I'm wondering if Brees even really wants an extension. Last year For the first time in their career Brees and Payton openly butted heads on the field and in the press. Maybe he wants to see how this season shakes out to see if he thinks he really still has a chance at a ring with the Saints. There is injury risk though.
