this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I love what Cooks brings but i agree ww should never have moved up in that draft for a WR it was so deep. As you say Robinson,Benjamin, Landry,Brown and Bryant all went later...

Not impressed with the WR class for 2016 but if I had to select one ...Josh Doctson is my choice (not just saying this because he is right down the road in Ft. Worth). Want a WR to get up and fight for the ball one on one? ... JD. A big, powerful strong dude.

In conclusion, I don't know why he's not the highest rated receiver in the draft. Don't want to see the Saints go receiver in the first round, but if strange circumstances lead them that way, I wouldn't mind Doctson. |

Back on topic ... hopefully Ireland and co go in this direction:
DE DT & G. I'll let you guys insert the names. Hopefully the selections will be impact players from day one. Draft day is finally here ![]() |

I just hope we get the best player available that can contribute this year. I really don't care who it is at this point although I would love to see 2 DT/DE and 1 CB in the 1st 3 rounds

1. Trade down
2. Elliott 3. Bosa Anyone not sure of Bosa is going to be a bit regretful should he end up in the NFC South. |

Some would say trade up and gamble with a player who is higher rated...
Right now if Qb's go 1 and two I say try and trade up to 8 with the Browns. You will have a shot at getting a top 5 player. THe Qb's are not even round one picks IMO. Let teams make a run on QB's and we can snag real top talent. |
