We traded this years 5th for the Redskins 4th round and sent them our next years 5th round pick. Not too terrible

I do wonder if we could have stood still with both him and Bell and got them. To be fair i dont blame the front office though,if they feel they are the guys go get them. Id rather have a front office be decisive and get who they want than wait and see. Time will tell i guess

Just a bit surprised it wasnt a Guard. I wonder if they have spoken to Evans about coming back when the Brees extension is done

He did play DE at the East-West shrine game and he is quick enough to play End on running downs. Looks to be able to play anywhere on the line, great versatility...

Long interview with his coach. This kid is raw, but he's a quick learner with explosive measurables.
I wasn't impressed initially, but now I'm as excited about this pick as any of the others. Numerous teams wanted this guy, who was the number one lineman, offense or defense, in Canada

he sure caught on quick for a fellow from another planet almost pertaining to football. he reads the block pretty good and has instinct that really takes years to develop if this guy can be a veginna pick that really works out this time around for payton an company. he payton will be back as genius draft picker once again.
