I hope the Saints at least give him a call; he could come at a discount.

Rolle, 33, started all seven games in which he appeared for the Bears last year, his only season with the team. He recorded 35 tackles and one pass defended in the process.

This came after five largely successful seasons with the New York Giants that saw the former Arizona Cardinals top-10 pick start all 80 games while earning two Pro Bowl appearances.

Rolle will now likely have to wait until the summer to catch on with another team. Though, there should be some interest in his services at some point prior to training camp.

Now there was a safety that hit. shame over the past years that style of play has taken its toll.

No way. He would not make the team. Our Safeties will be much improved this year.
