Funny..I just googled if the Saints ever drafted anyone from LSU and found this which was just recently posted:

Saints have been in the mix to draft LSU players, but timing hasn't worked out lately

Don't be fooled by the closed pipeline from LSU to the New Orleans Saints these days.

The Saints have historically drafted eight LSU players since 1970, but none since Al Woods in 2010. That's only behind the Giants (11), Chargers (10), Falcons (10), Cardinals (10) and Broncos (9), in that same time frame.

Woods, a fourth round draft pick, didn't last long in New Orleans. But he's doing OK for himself, re-signing with the Titans this week on a three-year, $10.5 million deal.

However, the Saints haven't drafted an LSU player since Woods, and they haven't taken many LSU players in the last 10 drafts. That honor goes to the Cardinals, who have taken five LSU players since 2008. The Bengals, Texans, Chargers and Niners have each taken four.

But even with the lack of players moving from Baton Rouge to New Orleans these days, the Saints say they like them just fine.

"We'd love to have some LSU players on our team," said general manager Mickey Loomis.

So..in 46 years, we have drafted 8 players from LSU..LMFAO and the title has nerve to say "lately".
